Community Enterprise Foundation

In six short years the Community Enterprise Foundation™ has grown to become one of Australia’s largest philanthropic structures with over $37M reinvested in charitable projects and programs right across Australia.

It is thanks to the entire Bendigo and Adelaide Bank network and its community partners that this tremendous contribution back to community has been possible, and today the Foundation is pleased to announce two further substantial developments.

Tonight, theClifton Hill / North Fitzroy Community Bank® Branch will celebrate the launch of its inaugural grants program in partnership with the Foundation. This event will also mark the launch of the Foundation’s new look website and industry leading online Grant portal. Online processing of grant applications is a significant step forward in the activities of our philanthropic Foundation, and critically important in positioning the Foundation for growth as it supports the Bank’s community and charitable partners in managing their investment in community projects across the country.

The launch of the new look website has also provided the Foundation with an opportunity to publish “Australia’s Community Heroes”, a report showcasing the generous contributions that have been made by the Foundation’s partners in 2010 / 11. “Australia’s Community Heroes” is a fantastic demonstration of the generous activities that so many staff, customers and community partners of the Bank actively involve themselves in on a daily basis and what communities can do with access to the right support structures and just a little financial help.

Please take the time to have a look at the difference you have helped others to make to so many in Australia by ensuring that the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank continues to strive to become Australia’s most customer connected bank.
