Going Green to help the Community and the Environment!

For a long time Bendigo Bank has worked with our customers to not only meet their financial goals but to help the communities generate income and build bright futures – both financially and socially.

There is much evidence that human activity is affecting the environment. Through Generation Green™, and with local communities, Bendigo Bank can play a role in addressing these issues by providing customers and communities with simple, practical, straight forward solutions that add up to a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future.

Bendigo Bank is making it easier to go green by offering businesses the chance to win $10,000 to improve their green practices.

Laverton Community Bank® Branch, Branch Manager, Stuart Stirling said Bendigo Bank was rewarding businesses that embrace sustainable business practises.  “Local business owners have the chance to win $10,000 simply by visiting the Generation Green™ website and answering a survey about how green their business practises are,” Stuart said.

“The competition is open to all Victorian businesses with an Australian business number and we encourage local residents to tell their friends and families how easy it is to go green, and win.”

Generation Green™ provides a range of loans, accounts and other services that make looking after the environment part of everyday life.
