A Community Bank^® branch is a franchise, with the community owning the rights to operate a Bendigo Bank branch.

The branches also provide the communities with the certainty of banking services and enables locals to bank the way they want, whether that be face to face, electronically or over the phone.

Community Bank^® branches are franchised businesses of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited. All the banking products offered by Community Bank^® branches are issued by Bendigo Bank.

Company Overview

Within 8 years of opening our first branch in Laverton/Altona Meadows our Community Banks now have over $200 million in balances with over 15,500 accounts. The Aviation Road Shopping centre is bustling and the picturesque Pier Street Altona is thriving.

Had our company not formed and established community banks in these areas it would be a far different site in these strips today, they have flourished from shopping strips into busy precincts something our community is and should be extremely proud of.

Over the past 8 years HBCFSL have worked tirelessly towards opening and now operating 3 community bank branches, Laverton/Altona Meadows, Altona and Point Cook.

In addition to providing banking and financial products and services our community banks offer great support to the community and last financial year proudly contributed in excess of $100,000.00 to our communities in donations and sponsorships.
